Employers - Where to Start

Who Applies? A work permit is a legal permission that is issued to a UK employer, for permission to employ a named individual to perform a specific job. This application is made on behalf of the UK employer. The rule is one job - one permit; any changes in employment must be authorised by the Home Office. If the individual is currently employed on a work permit issued to a different employer, you must have permission to employ them before they commence work in the new post. See changing your employer. It is possible to extend permission to stay for periods of up to 5 years with the same employer. PERMITS2WORK can manage the application for an extension in a few weeks. If you are unsure, please contact us for a free assessment. Our role is to manage the process; to make sure that the most appropriate solution is offered to meet your requirements. We understand how to get the permits effectively and quickly. As an employer you have a responsibility to get the application right for a potential employee. Immigration is complex - it will be better in the long run to seek professional advice earlier rather than when it's too late. You could be part of a multi-national group or a small company. The size of company does not matter - we can advise you on the documents required to support your application to best effect. |
