HSMP Judicial Review - Law Update

The UK Border Agency has issued a statement today to clarify their position, following the highly skilled migrant programme (HSMP) Forum Judicial Review - Judgement of 6 April 2009.

The announcement sets out the conditions on which this judgement was made, the time period given to the UK Border Agency to put the neccessary policies and procedures in place.

In the interim, applicants are directed not to make an application unless their existing leave to remain is due to expire.
