	Points Based System [PBS] launched today 29th February 2008 The new Points Based System [PBS] is taking effect from today; Tier 1 for Highly Skilled Migrants is the first of five separate Tiers, providing a robust and measured means of ensuring that only the best can work in Britain. Other changes include the introduction of new licences for employers that wish to employ migrant workers, which will be a mandatory requirement for Tier 2 Work Permit applications, which are due to take effect in Autumn 2008, together with on-the-spot fines being issued to those employers that do not confirm to the rules and anyone found hiring illegal workers in the UK. • Start searching for a job or plan your self employment or company
• Make sure you can show the funds you need in bank accounts to support your stay in the UK
• Collect as many of the required ORIGINALS

Let us know if you intend to be in or out of the UK at time of application so we can decide which will work best for you. When is your latest leave to remain if in UK. Not everyone can switch into HSMP so please ask whether we can switch your status.
