This is a formal part of the sponsorship licence application and should happen before a decision can be made by the UK Border Agency. However, these audits can be unannounced and even take place after a licence has been approved.
The audit is designed to review your existing HR policies and procedures, together with any previous dealings that you have had with the UK Border Agency.
We are recognised by the UK Border Agency as an ‘assured representative’ and can provide you with a detailed report of our findings together with any recommendations. If this report is submitted with your application and you follow our advice, you should not need to have a separate audit undertaken.
Even if you have a sponsorship licence, you could still benefit from an audit to ensure that your organisation is compliant and to identify areas of best practice.
