You can apply for a registration certificate which proves that you have the right to live in the UK under European Community law. However, there are some exceptions.
You will not be able to obtain this if you are any of the following:
• in the UK for a short visit
• do not work in the UK and cannot support yourself without public funds
• have been registered on the Worker Registration Scheme for less than 12 months
• a Bulgarian or Romanian job-seeker or worker subject to the worker authorisation scheme.

Can I bring my family members with me to the UK?
Your family will be able to join you in the UK if you are exercising your right of residence.
This will include any of the following
• husband, wife or civil partner.
• children (including adopted children).
• parents and grandparents
Non-EEA family members should seek permission to come to the UK and obtain a family permit.
Which nationals need to register their employment?
If you are a national of one of the following countries that joined the European Union (EU) in 2004, you may need to register when you start work (worker registration scheme): The Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia.
