What will you do as a legal representative?
We work with top barristers to ensure that your case is handled by an expert. We draft the grounds of appeal, skeleton arguments, advise you on witness statements, instruct a barrister to attend the court hearing with you and prepare relevant legal arguments to give you the best possible chance of success.
I am based overseas. Can I still appeal to the UK?
We can still handle your appeal if you are overseas. The appeal will still be heard at the First Tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) in the UK.
What are my chances of winning an appeal?
This will depend on the issues that surround your case. Some appeals are more complex than others. We will provide you with a free assessment of your case and advise you if you should appeal or not.
Do I have to use a legal firm? Can I lodge the appeal myself?
You can appeal without any legal representative. This is a personal decision that you need to make. Our role is to make sure that you have a solid arguable case and to make sure that you have the highest chance of success.
Do I have to attend the tribunal?
You should plan to attend the hearing where possible. The court will expect you to give your version of events and also to provide oral evidence as part of the hearing.
Do you work on a No-Win No-Fee basis for appeals?
All appeal work is on a fixed-fee basis. We will provide a quote for our fees at the start, before any work is undertaken. We do not cover legal aid work.
